Le Manapany Restaurant

The Manapany   Restaurant is steeped in the culture of the island, often cosmopolitan, sometimes Breton. Voluble, it reveals its secrets to us one by one; we savour them in small sips, like a fresh champagne or an old amber rum. Shaken in the shaker of dreams, its cocktails distil local colours and flavours. At the bar, we enjoy them in good company. With our eyes, we look for Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald on the horizon dancing, and to chat about anything and everything, Morand or Déon, in white tuxedos.The kitchen, too, makes the most of the island nature. Fish, shellfish, aromatic herbs, fruits and vegetables from the estate... All with complex scents, subtle cooking, spicy freshness, it knows how to remain simple and true on the plate, and on the grill, we listen every evening to the song of the lobsters, like gourmet poetry. Sweet pleasures are not to be outdone in the land of rum. The brown gold of the island throats the babas, underlines the cakes of Nantes and reinvents the suzette pancakes.
