A
new access way by boat between St Martin and St Barth is set up.
The Rapid Explorer, propulsion boat, 150 seats, Air Conditioning,
services on board, will short-track and forth between the Dutch
side of St Martin (Chesterfield Marina, 20 minutes from the Airport)
and the port of
Gustavia in 30 minutes everyday except on Sunday at the following
timetable :
Departure
from St Martin at 8h30, arrival in St Barth at 9h
Departure from St Barth at 9h30, arrival in St Martin at 10h
Departure from St Martin at 16h45, arrival in St Barth at 17h15
Departure from St Barth at 17h45, arrival in St Martin at 18h15

AND IMMIGRATION
The
island of St. Barts is part of France. All EEC Citizens need is
their national identity card. But in order to travel to the neighboring
islands, a valid passport will be needed. No vaccinations are
required. American and Canadian citizens must provide themselves
either with a passport, or of a certificate of birth and a document
with photograph of identity and of a ticket return.
Special VISA requirements for the French islands is required is
required for certain countries such as South Africa - Brasil -
Colombia - Dominican Republic - Georgia - India - Marocco - Peru
- Russia ....)
